I can help!

My name is Angie Munsey. I have a BA in Communications and completing my Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I love people and enjoy helping them see the world and themselves in a better light. Once a person realizes that they can benefit from new skills in their life, things begin to look much brighter. Having strategies to handle life’s ups and downs is incredibly empowering. Growing up, parents and family can only teach us so much; from that, we sometimes learn to respond to life in ways that no longer serve us. Recognizing those negative behaviors is a powerful skill that we all can learn, regardless of sex, preference, gender, ethnicity, religion, etc.

I am here to help you reach your goals by letting go of the old behaviors that no longer benefit you.  I will help you to recognize and overcome these blocks and live a much happier lifestyle.

 

Our thoughts can keep us stuck.  They are called Cognitive distorations because they keep us frustrated, anxious and worried.  Perfectionism, assuming, negative self-talk are just a few mental  blocks that I can help you overcome and change your life. 

 

Learning how to Foster a medley of boundaries and flexibility enables us to tackle, accept, or simply observe life’s ebbs and flows, leading to more tolerance to the discomfort that life sometimes brings.  Learning how to change old behaviors that no longer serve you can help you experience more enjoyment in your life.
