I am a graduate student at LeTourneau University studying to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a passion for helping people achieve their goals to improve their life, whether that means healing from trauma, managing symptoms of anxiety or depression, reconciling important relationships, or anything else they hope to gain through counseling. Additionally, I have specific expertise in working with women and couples who are adding to their family through the experience of childbirth. However, my ideal client is one who is searching for a safe place to share their struggles and grow toward their best life, no matter what that looks like for them.
I use a blended approach of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients in whatever way works best for them. As a woman of faith, I am is also equipped to provide Christian counseling for clients who desire spiritual integration in the therapeutic process. In using a tailored style, I avoid cookie-cutter solutions and creatively provide clients with the best therapeutic tools for them.
I believe that counseling should be an opportunity for clients to connect with another person and learn skills and strategies that will enable them to enjoy each day more and better cope with life’s difficulties. I am here to walk alongside my clients in whatever struggles they are experiencing.
When not working with clients, I enjoy crocheting, reading, watching Oklahoma State football, and spending time with my husband and two children.
